A year ago, he won the third season of the 'Armagedon Jamnica Pro Sport' MMA league with a kimura in the first round. Since then, he has notched up two more professional victories, making this his fourth match in a little over a year. Ognjen Babić (22, 4-0) is making a return to the Fight Nation Championship cage in front of his home crowd at the FNC 13 event in Belgrade, where he will face French fighter Axel Nobou (26, 3-1).
Ognjen hails from the Novi Sad-based team Car Dušan Silni, where he works excellently with FNC's welterweight champion, Nikola Joksović (29, 12-1), and coach Nemanja Milošević. He emphasized that he'll be cutting down from 100 to 80 kilograms, setting up a significant challenge for himself after the preparations.

His opponent is coming off a streak of three victories, and this will also be the biggest challenge in his career. He finished two opponents in the first round, while in the last match held in July, he secured a technical knockout in the third round.
