Watch on
Tomislav 'The Beast' Spahović (33, 8-6) is returning to the cage after eight years of absence, and he's doing it in front of his home crowd, leading the FNC 14 event in the legendary Sarajevo Zetra Arena! On the other side, he will face the Slovenian kickboxing icon who has entered the world of MMA, Miran 'Slo Rocky' Fabjan (38, 2-2), in a catchweight bout up to 100 kg!
The 'Beast' has had eight years of hiatus, during which he never stopped training. We all remember his last match, where he lost to today's UFC star Marcin Prachnio (35, 16-7). It was a fight that could have paved the way for him to the biggest global organization. Now, the Bosnian fighter is embarking on his ascent once again. Wrestling is his base sport, but we know what kind of 'bombs' he has in his hands, so don't blink during this match.
On the other side stands an absolute icon of Slovenian combat sports. After a long career in kickboxing, he decided to transition to MMA and collected two significant scalps - one against a fighter who had victories in Oktagon, his compatriot Tadej Dajčman (27, 5-4), with a fearsome knockout in the first round. His striking skills need no words, and for three years, he has been intensely training BJJ, emphasizing that after winning in Sarajevo, he aims to challenge for the FNC light heavyweight title against Matej Batinić (31, 20-5) in front of the home crowd in Ljubljana.
In addition to them, there are eight more exciting matches scheduled, and you can read the entire fightcard below. The event is just around the corner, scheduled for Saturday, December 16th, starting at 7 PM in Sarajevo at the Zetra Arena, and tickets are available through the kupikartu.ba system.
