Collision of Pula winners in Sarajevo: Al Capone against Rusi Minev
Three months ago, they emerged as winners, but now one of them will be defeated

Besides the striking name and surname, Alessandra ‘Il Capo’ Caponea (25, 4-5) is also remembered for his victory against the great regional MMA prospect Demahmet Sinani (21, 2-1) at the FNC 12 event in Pula's Arena. Three months later, we will see him facing the challenge of his career against the excellent Bulgarian Rusi Minev (26, 3-0) at the FNC 14 event in Sarajevo.
Similar to the Sinani fight, this will be a catchweight bout for Caponea, up to 68 kg. Judging by his record, Minev poses the most significant challenge of Caponea's career. In Pula, he did a great job against a smaller opponent, being noticeably larger and stronger than the fighter from Kosovo. Minev is a solid striker, and he choked out Sinani in the second round

But 'Baba Yaga' is coming for him. The winner of the third season of 'Armagedon' in the lightweight category in Fight Nation Championship has three victories and is chasing the fourth. He last competed in Pula, where he choked out David Travnicek (29, 2-1) in the third round. He has shown proficiency in striking, as well as durability in taking hits, while his wrestling and physical strength remain his significant strengths.
