Champions, challenger, and legend announce FNC 7 in Pula: Trušček declares: 'Savo is now the body I have to destroy!'
Big things are soon to be expected in Pula, announced by the main players of the spectacular event.

Two weeks separate us from an unprecedented MMA spectacle in Pula, and in the monumental Arena, three Fight Nation Championship titles will be on the line. Three local favorites will also compete: Daniel Bažant (31, 6-3) will defend the lightweight title, Andi Vrtačić (27, 2-0) will attack the middleweight title, and Ivan Vitasović (31, 10-5-1) will defend the heavyweight champion's belt in the main event of the evening.
Also at the press conference were regional and Croatian MMA legend Ivica "Terror" Trušček (34, 41-36), as well as FNC owners Dražen Forgač and Narcis Mujkić, along with Pula president Filip Zoričić.

"Pula is a sports city, and when something like this happens in the Pula Arena, which is a place of gladiators - all that happened in the past will be evoked in the present. There was even greater motivation because they are our boys, and the city of Pula will always have their support. It is a challenge for all of us who eagerly await it, and I wish you all a nice time because the organization and production will surely be top-notch," said the mayor of Pula to start.
This is a great challenge for the organizers who promise great things in the Pula Arena.
"This is a very important and big event for us, the biggest so far and at the best possible location. We are returning the Pula Arena to its original function with slightly milder rules than 2000 years ago. However, it will be full of adrenaline and top-notch fighters, and three and a half to four hours of top-notch entertainment. This is a huge project with great costs, so I thank the city of Pula for their maximum support, and we feel at home. I am convinced that this event will become a tradition, and we are ready to take responsibility for the event in Pula every year. Also, the first two champions come from the Trojan Team Zelg Galešić, who has been doing a good job popularizing MMA, this was a big motivation and plus for the arrival of the FNC in Pula. He asked for tough opponents for his fighters who will show that they are true gladiators on September 3rd," said the President of the organization Dražen Forgač, followed by co-owner Narcis Mujkić.
"The event in the Arena has a lot of meaning and has caused admiration from the world media. We have promised good fights and even three title fights, and the original purpose of the Pula Arena will return, at least in some sense. There are also fighters who have been in the UFC, one of them was negotiating with the UFC, but we managed to keep him for this event," he revealed.
The heavyweight champion Ivan Vitasović will have a tough job against the experienced Brazilian Geronimo 'Mondragon' Dos Santos (42, 43-23-1) in front of the home crowd.
"The Arena deserves a strong opponent, it wouldn't be fair to the audience and the organization to have a weak fight card. I am motivated and ready, going for the win" - said the heavyweight champion Ivan Vitasović.
Daniel Bažant, the premier featherweight champion, also has a big challenge ahead of him.
"Alcantara is a renowned UFC fighter, Zelg has been pushing us hard in training with new people from all over Europe. He really gave us a run for our money. We will be at 100% in two weeks and can't wait" - said the featherweight champion.
"We are prepared for this match, it's going to be bloody and intense. Anyone who has watched my fights knows I am entertaining and will continue to be so. Yes, I'd like to fight standing, but let's not get ahead of ourselves" - he explained jokingly.
Andi Vrtačić, the challenger for the middleweight title, has faced some minor issues with his preparations and is facing a big challenge in the form of Dany Barbir (25, 4-0).
"I work as a firefighter and work in shifts, so unfortunately in most cases I cannot attend group training sessions, so Zelg (his coach) has to adjust to me and I have no doubt that I will enter the fight as prepared as possible. Two weeks before the fight, my colleagues came in the middle of the season and I thank them that I can prepare as well as possible. I've made a good rehabilitation, everything is okay with my spine" - Andi concluded.
Although he has almost 80 fights and performances in FNC (a different organization), Trušček (another fighter) does not have the belt of this organization. He also states that this is not his desire.
"It's not my desire because we have young guys for top world organizations, this is a top European organization and they can prove themselves here. And it's not like I could beat them, they all beat me in training. As for the fight, Savo (his opponent) by signing the contract becomes just a body that I must destroy because of which I stole a book from Bruce Lee 30 years ago because I didn't have money and ran like an idiot." - 'Terror' Trušček revealed.
